10TH AFRICAN ENGINEERING WEEK

The 10th African Engineering Week, which took place from September 9 to 13, 2024, in Luanda, Angola, is one of the most relevant events on the African continent for the engineering sector. Organized by the Order of Engineers of Angola (OEA) in partnership with UNESCO, the event stands out as a fundamental platform for the exchange of knowledge, innovation, and practical solutions to the challenges of sustainable development in Africa.

With the theme “Innovative Infrastructure Solutions for a Sustainable Africa and Rapid Implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)”, the African Engineering Week brings together specialists, engineers, academics, and leaders from more than 20 countries. The event includes lectures, workshops, and discussion panels, addressing key issues such as building resilient infrastructures, the role of renewable energies, and the development of advanced technologies that support the implementation of a greener and more inclusive economy in Africa.
